The Islip Junior Wolves Drill Team is comprised of youths ranging in ages from 7 to 17 years old. They compete in drill competitions throughout the summer. These drills are held all across Long Island and although mainly comprised of teams from Suffolk and Nassau Counties, there are teams from upstate that also compete. On top of their drills the members of the Junior Wolves Drill Team also host meetings, fundraisers and go on group trips to places such as Splish Splash and many others. The Junior Wolves is great for kids who wish to start a career in the fire service as it helps them to understand the structure and familiarizes them with the fire department. Many of our members and officers started out as juniors. In 2011 the Junior Wolves captured their first New York State Championship. The Junior Wolves are always looking for new members.
